Here I am with The Most Wonderful Husband In The World (yeah, I kinda like him....I think I'll keep him around!) learning to become gourmet Italian chefs at a beautiful villa and winery in the Veneto region of northern Italy. This was an unforgettable experience. |

Rodos, Greece...my homeland. This is a view of the Old City from our pension where you can see the ancient wall that surrounds it. Beyond the walls is the majestic blue of the Meditteranean Sea. My grandparents and their grandparents, and so on down the line, lived and worked within the walls of this medieval, 14th century city. My grandparents emmigrated to the U.S. as a teenagers in the early 1900's through Ellis Island. Such a moving and emotional experience! |
